  • Sex: Gelding
  • Foaled: 5/10/88
  • Sire: Bye Bye Love
  • Dam: Saph Fire DL
General Info: Used as a novice walk/trot/gaited lesson horse for 2 years. We have not had any experience of him spooking other than at a shadow on the wall beside him cast from a light behind and above him.
Advantages: Moose is a fun horse to ride. He is stout for a bigger person. Grooms, baths, stands well for farrier, trailers.
Disadvantages: Moose does trot, and could be taught to trot all the time with individual work. However, with lesson students riding him he mixes up his gaits.
Reason for selling: Too many walk/trot type horses need to buy beginner canter horses.

Wild Eyed And Wicked
Wild Eyed And Wicked
  • Barn Name: Wicky
  • Breed: Hackney Pony
  • Color: Bay
  • Sex: Gelding
  • Foaled: 1/9/1996
  • Sire:
  • Dam:
General Info: This pony rides and drives. He takes a semi-experienced rider with a good seat and soft hands and an experienced driver.
Advantages: Wicky is beloved by a ten year old little girl that does all kind of ground work with him once or twice a week. He has great manners and is very attentive. This pony is fast, handy, game-very much a roaster type. Instead of trying to train him for something quieter as for our purposes, he would probably make a very fine jumper or game horse.
Disadvantages: Wicky hitches nicely, drives straight lines fine but is somewhat sullen in the turns. We have ridden him 20-30 times and he has never show any intent to buck or give us any trouble. However, he is a little nervous under saddle.
Reason for selling: We love this pony and have hung on to him for several years now, but just do not have the time to allocate to train him. We feel that his true calling is probably a jumper or playday horse.
Price: $950 + $40 (processing fee)
